with 4 comments

Go For It

  • Get paid for everything.
  • Endurance!
  • Keep putting money back in your business.
  • Get everything in writing.
  • Always believe in yourself.
  • Follow your heart and never give up on your dreams.
  • Do your own footwork and business filing—it’s your dream.
  • Do something every day to move your business closer to profits.
  • Surround yourself with talented and passionate individuals.
  • Read the fine print.
  • Don’t listen to the naysayers; pursue fearless innovation.
  • Stay focused, positive, and don’t look back.
  • No risk, no reward!
  • Learn to sell yourself!
  • Aim for the moon; if you miss, you’re among the stars.
  • When it stops being fun, find something else to do.
  • Don’t quit your day job until you have to.
  • Don’t under-fund start-up costs.
  • Cash is not a four-letter word.
  • You can bring friends into business, but not friendship.
  • Have an advertising budget.
  • Always think business is good, no matter if it’s not.
  • Get professional help designing your brand, not just your logo.
  • Play to your strengths; find a partner whose strengths cover your weaknesses.
  • Don’t cast your business plan in stone.
  • It takes over your life. You have to love it.
  • Believe in yourself and the product.
  • Keep receipts for everything.
  • Stick with it.
